We Use Our Own Software
At openHR, we don’t just develop the software – we use it too. This means we’re constantly maintaining and improving the platform.

Comprehensive Features
openHR boasts a multitude of features designed to streamline HR and payroll processes. These include:
  • Detailed employee profiles
  • Payslip generation
  • EMP201 reports
  • IRP5 generation
  • Easy UIF submissions
  • Employee warnings
  • Leave applications
  • Loans
  • A disciplinary code
  • Expense claims and refunds
  • Permit management
  • Payslip verification
  • Job manager
  • Telephone extension list

  • And many other reports
In addition, openHR provides access to an audit history, allowing users to see who did what and when. Users can also add notes to all documents for those exceptions.

Flexibility
openHR is designed to be flexible and adaptable to your company’s policies. You can manage all different pay frequencies in one place on one page and add as many leave types as you like.

Reliable and Fast
Despite our server being based in overseas, openHR is optimised for a super-fast responsive web experience using the latest in web technologies. This means it’s exempt from being affected by loadshedding in South Africa yet also fast.
openHR is more than just a software provider. We’re a partner committed to helping businesses keep costs low and operations running smoothly. We made it because we wanted something better. And that’s exactly what we offer.
