Terms and Conditions for the openHR Social Media Competitions
1. Eligibility.
This competition is open to all individuals aged 18 years or over with South African residency and a South African bank account, except for employees, family members, and associates of openHR, who are not eligible to participate.
2. Entry.
To enter the competition, participants must 'like' and 'share' the specified post on their social media page and also 'like' and 'follow' openHR's social media page. Only one share to the same page per week will be counted as an entry. Any duplicates will not be entered into the random draw. Shared posts must be visible to the public. For guessing games, only those within a 30% total range (15% below and 15% over) from the correct answer are eligible for any prize. You are only eligible for the prize if your name is drawn and you are within the above-mentioned range. If your name is drawn and your answer is not in the above-mentioned range, there will be no redraws.
3. Judging.
The decisions of the judges are final and binding. No correspondence regarding the results will be entered into.
4. Prizes.
Prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. openHR reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
5. Disqualification.
openHR reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions. You also consent that openHR does not need to inform you when you are disqualified and the onus is on you to prove you did not breach our terms.
6. Privacy.
By entering this competition, you consent to openHR using and storing your information for the purposes of this competition. Please refer to our privacy policy for more information. openHR may also tag you in all social media.
7. Liability.
openHR is not responsible for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any prize. By sharing the post you indemnify openHR of any claims.
8. Jurisdiction.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
9. Agreement.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
10. Winners.
Winners will be announced on social media within a reasonable time after the end of the competition. Winners will be required to prove compliance with financial safeguards and provide a proof of bank account for cash prizes. For prizes such as goods that require shipping, shipping will be paid by openHR but will not include insurance. Insurance for shipping will need to be arranged and paid for by the winner.
